Summer 2005...SoFarSoGood [23 May 2005|01:30am] [ mood | giddy ] [ music | Beauty School Dropout ] It's 1:30 in the morning...and yeah i'm really tired...but i'm staying up just because i can. ITS SUMMER BITCHES. What an AWESOME feeling. Summer has started off REALLY good. Couple good partys Awesome Hopkins beach days...everyday. And sleeping in until noon Friday night I went to a Suns game...and watched Miss Jacksonville aka my bros almost girlfriend throw the first pitch which was really exciting. Shes awesome. Saturday night Josh and I went with Erica and Evan to dinner and then we all went and played putt-putt golf...and then came back to my house to get in the *hot-tub* It was SO much fun. us 4 were so cute...yay! It started mentioning kids trashing each other on "livejournal.com"....so I kept reading. It talked about a girl and how ppl would leave mean comments....you know the ones im talking about, we've all seen them and some of us have written them. This girl stopped eating and cut her wrists...all the way to the bone. Not over livejournals...but other peoples thoughtless and careless words. And it got me to thinking...words can hurt. And honestly if everyone was just a little nicer...everyone would be just a little bit happier. As cheesy as it sounds...think about it. I'm not really one to talk...im not the nicest person in the world...but no ones perfect. Not to push religion onto anyone but it states in the bible .... The mother-daughter shopping trip went really good. We didnt kill each other and i got some cute clothes. An overall successb i'd have to say. Everyone finally came home from their damn trips. *except whitney but shes on a plane as we speak* Kyle and I went to Angies as his welcome home lunch. He hooked up with a 14 year old in a hot tub. Friday night I stayed the night at joshs house. We got up early the next morning and then everyone came over and his mom made us some pancakes then we all jumped in our cars and headed about 2 hours south of here to Salt Springs. It was a fun group of friends...me whitney julie bailey moe cory josh and mike. We had A BLAST. The water was like 72 degrees and since the outside temp was lower than that the water felt good. We all got sun burned and were exhausted when we got home but it was an unforgettable trip and im so glad we went. i can't wait to go back!!! its days like saturday that spring break was made for... Saturday night i was to tired to do anything so Whitney Ali Dustin Collin and Jeff came over. Me and the boys watched some bball and chilled. I was wayy to tired to leave the house. Woke up early today...like 10:45 haha...went to the beach with Whitney Stacey Eric Dustin and his friend Kyle. The last thing i needed to be doing was laying out...but we had fun. Played a little football and watched Dustin prance around in my pink sunglasses. Stayed in tonight...i was just in a chill mood....got to talk to Aaron on the phone tonight for over an hour....and now here i am. Im def. going to miss hanging with all the girls but the 6 hour practices...thats another story. Congrats to the one and only Kara...the newest and bestest Miss Fletcher. You were amazing and im quite proud of you. :0) Took a lil road trip to Keystone Heights with Whitney and Stacy on saturday...went and got lunch and duh of course got to see Aaron...2 weekends in a row. Thats never happened...thank god for SPRING BREAK!! SPEAKING OF SPRING BREAK....ours starts in 1 day. Im so glad...all this school is making me wanna pull my hair out. I think this break is well deserved and we should all party as much as possible... but thats just my idea...whatever floats yo boat i can't wait for summer..on sunday it was 80 degrees and sooo beautiful! whitney and i went to Target, got ourselves some bathings suits and came back and swam in my (heated) pool and laid out. Josh came over too and we swam and just had a blast. Whitney went home, but josh and i couldn't pull ourselves outta the water so we played for a bit. then that night we went to whits house, grilled out burgers, played ping pong and had rootbeer floats on her back porch. it felt like the PERFECT summer day. to bad wiley killed that feeling first thing monday morning.... so yeah PROM...IN 2 WEEKS... its gonna be a hell of a time us 06 kids get crunk... Despite the techinal difficulties at the very start, it went great. All the girls looked beautiful and everyones talent for the most part went as planned. Couldn't have asked for anything more... Hope to see a bunch of you back out next week for the modeling portion..i'll be honest it wont be as fun, but the crowning will be worth it. My song went pretty good. I'm not going to complain, I mean I know it could have been better but it sounded pretty good and I got great reactions from everyone. All my friends and family were there screaming for me...I heard all ya'll haha. Thanks for coming guys, it seriously meant a lot. What an amazing feeling though...I can't even describe it. After such an amazing (and exhausting) night i had to get up at 7 to drive out to the summer camp I work at just south of Jacksonville. I was working with this father daughter group using our camp for the weekend. I taught them how to use BB guns. haha...it was fun. But best of aaalllll I got to see my Aaron. Jacksonville has spent years planning for this week...and I'd say they've done a damn good job.
